Turntables are often thought of as being the heart and soul of a good hi-fi system. For the best performance from your hi-fi or streaming speakers, it is strongly recommended that you take the time to properly set them up. In most instances, this involves a crossover that will handle the power requirements of the different speakers that will be attached to your amplifier. Failure to properly setup the amplifier and speakers can result in poor sound quality and possible damage to both the amplifier and the speakers. Some brands recommend specific types of speakers for different situations; while others may recommend a certain brand due to name recognition. Regardless of the specific situation that you need to use your amplifier, it is important to know and follow any guidelines given by your manufacturer.
